## K Academy (training)
K Academy is the training arm of KClinics, based inside the clinic at 4 Charterhouse Buildings, Goswell Road, Clerkenwell, Islington. Qualifications are Ofqual-regulated and awarded through VTCT (Levels 2–4); short courses are CPD-accredited. Delivery is blended: online theory on Thinkific, practical days in the working clinic, VTCT exam administered in-house. Learners can enrol at any time and join the next suitable cohort.

### Funding and finance
Direct government funding for learners (Advanced Learner Loans, Mayor of London Adult Skills Fund) is not available through K Academy at present and is not expected before 2028. Monthly course finance and self or employer funding are available now.

- Advanced Learner Loan — not available yet (register interest). Learners aged 19+ on our Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications. A government loan pays your fees; you repay only once you earn over the threshold.
- Adult Skills Fund (Mayor of London) — not available yet (register interest). London residents aged 19+ who are unemployed or on a low wage. Fully or part funded — often free to the learner.
- Islington Council learning — not available yet (register interest). Islington residents aged 19+. Free or subsidised community learning places.
- Lifelong Learning Entitlement — not available yet (register interest). Learners on Level 4 to Level 6 courses, from 2027. A flexible government loan you can use across your lifetime.

### Where are you located?
We are in the heart of Clerkenwell, Islington — at 4 Charterhouse Buildings, Goswell Road, moments from Farringdon and Barbican stations.

### Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. Every consultation is complimentary, and there is never any obligation to proceed. It is simply the best way to design the right plan for you.

### Is there a discount for new clients?
New clients enjoy 15% off their first visit, for either aesthetic or dental treatment. Mention it when you book.

### How do I book an appointment?
Book online in under a minute — choose your treatment and time and your card is saved securely (no payment is taken until your treatment is delivered). You can also call us or request a consultation.

### Can I pay in instalments?
Often, yes. Klarna and Clearpay let you spread the cost on KClinics Academy courses, gift cards and anything in our online shop — you pick them at checkout. For treatment courses and packages, ask the team and we will send you a secure payment link with those options on it. Approval, payment schedules and eligibility are decided by Klarna or Clearpay, not by us, so we cannot guarantee you will be accepted. Booking an appointment online never takes a payment — it only saves your card.

### Do you accept Klarna or Clearpay?
Yes, on eligible purchases. You can choose Klarna or Clearpay directly at checkout for KClinics Academy courses, gift cards and online shop orders. For treatments, packages and courses of treatment, our team can send you a secure payment link that includes them. They are independent providers, not KClinics: eligibility checks, approval and the payment schedule are entirely their decision, so please read their terms before you commit.

### What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge online, from the link in your confirmation email, up to 48 hours before your appointment. Within 48 hours, online cancellation and rescheduling are no longer available — please call us on 020 8050 0750. Cancellations made or confirmed with us within 24 hours of your appointment, or if you do not attend, incur the full treatment fee (charged to the card saved at booking).

### When am I charged?
Never upfront. Your card is securely saved when you book, but you are only charged once your treatment has been delivered — or, for late cancellations, per our 24-hour policy.

### Are your treatments safe?
Absolutely. We use professional technology, follow rigorous protocols and our treatments are delivered by trained, experienced clinicians who put your safety first.

### Will my results look natural?
Natural-looking enhancement is our signature. We treat conservatively and artistically, so you look like a refreshed, confident version of yourself.

### How do I know which treatment is right for me?
That is exactly what your consultation is for. We assess your goals and recommend a clear, honest, personalised plan — no pressure, ever.

## K Academy FAQs
### Where is K Academy?
K Academy is the training arm of KClinics at 4 Charterhouse Buildings, Goswell Road, Clerkenwell, Islington, London EC1M 7AN, a few minutes from Farringdon, Barbican and Old Street stations. Practical days take place inside the working clinic.

### Are K Academy courses accredited?
Yes. Our Level 2 to Level 4 qualifications are Ofqual-regulated and awarded through VTCT, and our short courses are CPD-accredited. The awarding body, level and certificate for each course are shown on its course page.

### How are courses delivered?
Blended learning. Theory is completed online through our Thinkific platform at your own pace, followed by hands-on practical days in the Islington clinic on the same equipment used in practice. Your VTCT exam is administered in-house.

### Which levels do you teach?
From Level 2 foundation skin and laser, through Level 3 and Level 4 aesthetic practice, up to advanced Level 5 to 7 programmes. Entry requirements and prerequisites are listed on each course page.

### Is government funding available for K Academy courses?
Not at the moment. Advanced Learner Loans and Mayor of London Adult Skills Fund places are not currently available through K Academy, and we do not expect direct learner funding to open before 2028. You can spread the cost with monthly course finance, or ask your employer to sponsor you.

### Can I pay for a course monthly?
Yes. Monthly course finance is available through our finance partner, subject to status (18+, UK residents). You pay a deposit and spread the balance; your place is held while you pay.

### When do courses start?
You can enrol at any time and we place you in the next suitable cohort. Upcoming cohort dates and remaining places are shown on each course page.

### What happens after I qualify?
Eligible graduates can ask about leasing clinic-grade laser and aesthetic devices on flexible terms, so you can start treating clients without buying equipment outright. Ask the team through the trainee portal or by phone.
