About the service
The pigmentation correction procedure uses high-intensity light or laser energy to break down excess pigment on the skin with a higher concentration of melanin. This heat from the conversion of light energy takes out extra pigment from skin without damaging the surrounding tissue. As a result, skin returns natural shine, balances the skin tone and promotes skin cell renewal. We are waiting for you at our London clinic.

Skin Sensitivity
Texture & Tone
How does the procedure work?
The melanin that causes pigmentation spots is targeted by a laser or other strong light that enters the skin during the pigmentation repair process. The pigment is broken down by the light energy’s conversion to heat and the body then naturally gets rid of it. Concurrently, the generation of collagen on the skin is boosted, enhancing the structure of the skin and making it firmer, smoother and brighter. The skin’s colour and texture balance out after the first session, and pigmentation spots gradually fade or lighten over time.
Benefits Pigmentation Correction
Dullness & Dryness
The process gives dull, uneven skin life and brightness by increasing blood circulation and encouraging cellular turnover.
Hyperpigmentation
Pigmentation correction eliminates dark spots, sun damage and other discolorations by focusing on and eliminating excess melanin, resulting in a more radiant and balanced complexion.
Skin Sensitivity
Because pigmentation correction is moderate and adaptable, it may effectively treat pigmentation problems without endangering sensitive skin.
Texture & Tone
This process restores a glowing, healthy glow, evens out tone, and smoothes out uneven skin texture.

Treatment step-by-step
Form Submission & Consultation
The first step is filling out a small brief form with important information about your health, any contraindications, expectations and desired outcomes. After this, you will have a personal consultation with our specialist, where she analyses your skin phototype, the type of pigmentation (melasma, sun spots, post-inflammatory pigmentation) and identifies the most effective correction methods.
Before Treatment
To achieve the best results, we recommend avoiding sun exposure for 2–4 weeks before your session and applying SPF daily. It is also important to discontinue photosensitising products or active skincare ingredients a few days before the procedure (unless your specialist advises otherwise). The full Before Care recommendation list is available on the treatment page on our website.
During Treatment
The specialist will cleanse your skin, apply a protective gel, and start the procedure using laser or IPL light (depending on the chosen method). During the procedure, you may feel gentle warmth, tingling or quick flashes of heat — these sensations are completely normal. The procedure typically lasts 15–35 minutes.
After Treatment
After the session, the specialist will soothe the skin, remove any remaining gel or product and also provide personalised After Care instructions: avoiding sun exposure, applying SPF 30–50, maintaining hydration, and avoiding saunas or heat treatments for 24–48 hours. All After Care guidelines can also be found on the treatment page on our website.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, the process is comfortable and painless. But during the session some clients experience a mild tingling or heat, but this is not uncomfortable.
It is advised to have three to five sessions spaced out by two to four weeks. The intensity of pigmentation and skin type determine the exact amount of treatments.
Results can often be seen after the first session: pigmentation patches fade and the skin tone becomes more equal. For best outcomes, the entire course of treatments must be completed.
With the right skincare and sun protection, the effects may last for up to a year. It can be necessary to schedule maintenance sessions to prolong the effect.
This procedure is most effective for light and medium skin tones. To prevent hyperpigmentation, patients with darker skin tones need to consult with a specialist.
Melasma and other hormonal pigmentation problems can indeed be lightened by the process. But a consultation is necessary to ensure that it works for your situation.
Before they exfoliate, pigmentation patches may temporarily darken and there may be mild soreness or discomfort after the procedure. Usually, these side effects go away in a few days.
To improve the outcomes, Pigmentation Correction can be used in combination with chemical peels, microneedling, or moisturising facials. Follow your specialist’s recommendations for timing between treatments.
